Are your ready for the summer? As we age, skin care becomes more and more of a concern for summer. How do we stop those dark spots from getting darker? Or help with the splotchy, blotchy skin that happens once we start going out in the sun?! Luckily, there is a solution and I am so excited to share it with you. It's called “Conffianz”.
As I have gotten older, dark spots and freckles have appeared on my face. I also have one really bothersome dark spot on my cheek from a deep cystic acne break out in October. I saw a dermatologist last month and she recommended a very strong prescription cream that I am afraid to use because her warning list was longer than the benefits listed! My biggest concern is that she said the prescription would make my skin extremely dry, red, and flaky. I don't want dandruff face!
Have you ever had this experience?
Well, there's a better way: Conffianz. If you are dealing with “manchas” (splotches), uneven skin tone, dark spots from sun damage, hormones (melasma) or acne scars, Conffianz can help.
Conffianz is a beauty brand designed with Latinas in mind to help with dark spots and uneven skin tone. Conffianz's award winning Clear & Confident Line helps even out skin tone, lighten dark spots, and lighten sun damage. There are 3 components to this skin care line, available at Walmart in a kit with a headband.
I used to get compliments that my skin was like porcelain and so clear! People said I was lucky to have such great skin. In the last five years I have received almost no compliments on my skin. I'm not really fussy about beauty and I barely know how to apply mascara. But I didn't like that my skin seemed to have gotten really splotchy and uneven, making me look older than I am. The splotches made my skin look dirty and not cared for, which was NOT the case. I go out into the sun a lot to garden and I know that going into the sun with my skin unprotected is part of the problem. I did not know what products were the best to use to protect my skin so I just wear at hat. I have invested more and more money in creams and cleansers that don't work and I had seen no improvement for years. Then I tried Conffianz.
This is what my skin looked like after two weeks of using Conffianz! I'm a little more tan than in my photo from 10 years ago because I now go outside more and 10 years ago, I was working in an office all day. I think the success I had in this short time is because Conffianz is made for Latina skin like mine. I had never tried Conffianz or even heard of it until this year.
I picked up the Conffianz Clear & Confident kit at Walmart and started using it right away. Here's how it works:
Apply the headband from the kit to keep hair away from your face.
Wet your face. Apply the Facial Cleanser to your face to gently remove makeup, oil, and other impurities while conditioning and soothing the skin with natural ingredients including Ginger, Aloe, Sweet Almond and Citrus Extracts. Rinse away with water and pat your face dry. Use this cleanser in the morning and at night.
Next, apply the Skin Lightener in a very small amount directly on dark spots and areas of uneven skin tone.
The Skin Lightener contains a unique non-prescription formula which inhibits the production of the excessive pigments that can lead to uneven skin tone or dark spots. Apply directly on dark spots in the morning and all over the face at night after cleansing.
Finally, apply the Facial Moisturizer with SPF 30. This is lightweight, fragrance free moisturizer absorbs quickly and can be used alone or under makeup. The unique blend of ingredients including Chamomile, Green Tea and Aloe help to sooth and moisturize the skin while protecting it. Apply all over your face, both morning and night, after applying the Skin Lightener.
The word Conffianz comes from the Spanish words “confianza” and “confidente” meaning trust and confidence. Conffianz helps Latinas feel strong, unique, confident, and beautiful in their own skin. Conffianz is made for all skin types and women of different heritages, with a focus on Latinas. After two weeks of use, morning and night, here is what my skin looked like:
I applied a little bit of makeup in the “after” photo but many of my dark spots had faded, including the large scar on my cheek that I had since October!!! I love that the moisturizer has SPF 30 in it, especially since I spend at least an hour every day in my garden, in the sun.
But don't just take my word for it:
- Conffianz products are recommended by dermatologist Dr. Francisco Flores, a Board Certified Dematologist and Dermatology Surgeon in Miami, Florida
- Winner of the 2014 Latina Beauty Award from Latina Magazine
- Winner of the 2015 Excellence in Beauty Award from Siempre Mujer Magazine
In addition, Conffianz is a product you can feel good about supporting. Conffianz has created a scholarship fund for Latinas called the Inexplicablemente Bella Scholarship. Conffianz also supports breast cancer awareness through Alas Wings, a nonprofit that supports Latinas affected by Breast Cancer.

This works on hands too, which I was glad to find out. I am getting spots on my hands too!!
My biggest skin problem is my eye area – dark circles and dryness on the lids. Ah, aging!
