Sponsored post by Mirum Shopper. All opinions are my own. A “Torta” is a style of sandwich; I like to think of them like the submarine sandwich of Mexico! This torta recipe is full of flavor, featuring marinated grilled tuna, fresh tomatoes and jalapeños, and a dollop of Knorr's creamy guacamole. They're perfect for lunches, on the road, or even at picnics. You can grill the fish to order and then make the sandwiches at the park or campground or make this completely at home.
Since these sandwiches are rather large, one sandwich can be shared. Typically, we eat eat just one half so we need to make only two sandwiches for our family of four. This recipe is for one sandwich so it is easy to adpat to any size household.
