Fall Candle Display for the Season! With Glade®

Fall is here and that means all things warm, cuddly, and pumpkin! There's something about a scented candle that just works perfectly in autumn. Today, I am sharing a pretty candle vignette you can set up in your home to dress up your candles and to give your home a warm, cozy feeling throughout the fall season.

This candle display is perfect for a tabletop, mantle, or a coffee table in your home as it has a low profile to allow for conversation but also has a pleasing, outdoorsy feel to it with the wood and rock accents. I am using this display on my dining room table right now but if we were to have a game night, I'd move it to our coffee table.

The candles are nestled among Mexican river rocks in a metal tray to keep everything fire safe. I nestled a beaded spray and an old preserved leaf from my grandmas's house into the rocks on the end of the tray furthest from the candles as a sentimental accent, which I'd remove when the candles are lit.

I recently stopped in at our local Ralph's store and picked up the new Glade® Limited Edition Fall Collection Scents Pumpkin Pit Stop™ and Hit the Road™ candles. I got 3 of each so that I can change out the display as we move through fall.

Hit the Road Favorite

I think the Glade® Hit the Road™ scent is reminiscent of a perfect fall sky or a country road trip. The blue color looks really nice in my house and this one was Xaver's favorite! For a warmer scent, I'll change the candles to Glade® Pumpkin Pit Stop™, which has a fresh from market scent that's a slice from heaven.

Here's what you'll need to create your own rustic candle display for fall:

  • 2 to 3 each 3.8 oz. Jar Candle – Glade® Limited Edition Fall Collection Scents Pumpkin Pit Stop™ and Hit the Road™
  • 1 Metal Tray
  • 1 Bag of Mexican River Rock
  • 1 Wood Plank
  • Wood Stain (optional)
  • Spray Sealer (optional)

Stain the wood plank with the wood stain as desired – if you do not wish to stain the wood, leave it natural. I created an ombre effect on this wood plank by using two colors of stain. Seal the wood plank with a spray sealer.

Lay the metal tray on top of the wood plank.

5---Candle-Display-DIY-JPriest

Arrange the Glade® Limited Edition Fall Collection Pumpkin Pit Stop™ and Hit the Road™ candles in the tray as desired.

Surround the candles with river rocks.

This tray is delightful and versatile – change out the rocks for sand in the summer and small colored pebbles in the spring!
