Easy DIY Dia De Los Muertos Flower Vase

Over 110 fabulous Halloween Ideas shared by bloggers. #halloweenideas #halloween

Halloween is absolutely one of my FAVORITE holidays and to celebrate I teamed up with some of the most talented bloggers to bring you over 110 fabulous Halloween ideas! From costumes to parties, crafts and home decor, recipes and free printables, we have so many fun ideas to share! I guarantee you'll find a project (or 10!) that you would love to incorporate into your Halloween festivities. All week (Monday through Saturday) myself and my blogging friends will be sharing our fun creations with all of you. Each day will include approximately 20 Halloween projects and you can “hop” from one blog to another to check them all out.

Inspired by the CraftyChica's new line with ILoveToCreate.com at Michael's Stores, I decided to go with a “Day of the Dead” themed Halloween decor theme for my house. I know, Day of the Dead IS NOT Halloween but I like the more colorful, almost cheery aesthetic and thought it would be a nice way to break away from the traditional orange and black Halloween decor. This vase is a cheap and easy way to dress up the table or mantel for the holidays that's kind kitschy and kinda classy.

You can fill the vase with fresh or fake flowers and use it as home decor or display it on Day of the Dead or at a gravesite. Here's how to make it:

You'll need these handy dandy supplies to make it, most of which can be found at Dollar Tree:

What colors would you use to make this for your house for this Halloween or Day of the Dead?
